Kagyud Monlam is held every year in Bodhgaya which is led directly by HH XVII Karmapa. And Kagyud Monlam is also held almost every year in some other countries, including Singapore and Indonesia. In Indonesia, the Kagyu Monlam ceremony is usually held near Borobudur temple. In Singapore, the 3rd Kagyud Monlam event has been held on 20-22 April 2012. The event was organized by the Zurmang Kagyud Buddhist Foundation Singapore. Because H.E. Zurmang Gharwang Rinpoche XII can not be present at this event, the event will be led by Ven. Zurmang Drukpa Rinpoche IV.

There were quite a lot of devotees from Jakarta who joined the life release program held at Teluk Naga – Tangerang, a suburb area near Jakarta on Sunday, 14 November 2010. This program was lead by Ven. the 4^th Zurmang Drukpa Rinpoche dan Thek Chok Rinpoche (the son of the 11^th Zurmang Tenga Rinpoche), 4 monks and Ani Tashi.

In Qinghai, the Pakcik Monlam (8 Auspiciousness), prayers for aspiration and world peace was convened from 20 September to 1 Oktober 2010. This event was pioneered by Ven. the 4^th Zurmang Drukpa Rinpoche. 3,000 monks and Khenpos from all parts of Qinghai joined this event.
